All you have to do is go to the marina area and ask around (most likely someone will approach you asking if you want a boat tour). Some complain that the vast majority of beaches in the area (even in resorts) cannot be swimming due to rough waters and strong currents, but several public beaches are safe for swimming, including Playa del Amor near Cabo San Lucas and Bahia de Chileno in the Corridor.
