Los Cabos has all the water sports and adventure excursions you could want. Everything from snorkeling, diving, rowing, flyboarding, jet skiing, fishing, whale watching, parasailing and much more. Your family's adrenaline junkies will love venturing to Los Cabos.
Cabo San
Lucas is one of the best beach cities in Mexico for several reasons.First of all, it's easy and safe to move around. Secondly, you can adapt the trip to your budget and travel style. Finally, there are plenty of great tours and excursions from Los Cabos to choose from. Visitors come to Los Cabos as tourists and snowbirds, mostly from the U.S.
The U.S., Canada, and other parts of Mexico, and many return year after year because of the destination's many attractions, including miles of pristine sandy beaches and natural beauty. One of the main reasons Americans travel to Cabo San Lucas is to enjoy the warm weather and relaxing beach. From most places in Cabo San Lucas or San Jose del Cabo, you're likely to be within walking distance of bars, restaurants, shops, and local attractions, or a short cab ride away. To see the difference between safe and dangerous in action, be sure to take a boat to Lover's Beach from the Cabo San Lucas Marina.
Once you're in Cabo San Lucas, you can easily walk to Cabo Adventures or another whale watching tour provider (although I highly recommend Cabo Adventures). Its privileged location between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo is an excellent starting point to get to know these two important cities. Statistically speaking, travelers are safe in Cabo San Lucas and most of Mexico, despite media sensationalism. This elegant coastal property in the Puerto Los Cabos section of San José del Cabo has its own golf course.
Cabo San Lucas is home to one of the largest and most exclusive marinas in Mexico, where many of the boat cruises and adventure trips depart from. If you want to venture off the beaten track in Cabo and out of Cabo's main tourist area, consider a day trip to San Jose del Cabo, Todos Santos, or La Paz. If you prefer to walk, choose a hotel near Amelia Wilkes Square (Cabo's main square) or Cabo Marina, as you'll be in the walkable parts of Cabo. Cabo tours like these are a great way to meet people and enjoy activities that are much more fun as a group, such as a boat tour to the Cape Arc and a Cabo taco tour in the safety of a group, and with a tour leader who knows Cabo well.
This makes Cabo a year-round destination, though you may want to avoid Cabo's rainy season in August and September. Yes and No I say yes and no because safety is never a guarantee anywhere on Earth; not in your own hometown, not in your own home, or in Cabo San Lucas Mexico. Cabo San Lucas has a similar energy, particularly in the spring, but San Jose del Cabo is best known for its smaller bars, cafes and restaurants that offer more muted live music. San Jose del Cabo is still a little promising for travel, although it gains popularity every year.
